MEETING MINUTES
The regular membership of the Snake River
Bassmasters, Inc., was called to order by President
Kriner at 7:10 P.M. at The Deer Flat Refuge Visitor's Center. There were 9 club members present.

The club spent $58 on flowers for Roger Duncan's service.

Show-did a light version of the kid's casting on Saturday, State Team did it
Sunday; gave some fishing classes for kids both days.

Talked about
re-wording the rules concerning substitutes in Qualifiers; new files are up on
the Federation website.
TOURNAMENT
DIRECTOR:
Tournament director Jim Thornock reported:
§
Members planning on fishing club tournaments need to get their proof of
boat insurance papers in to Jimmy before the first tournament. We had a quick
discussion on requiring club members to go from $100,000 to $300,000 liability
insurance. TBF, FLW and most large opens
are requiring $300,000. Going to check
with TBF to see if they have an insurance requirement for TBF clubs.

Several members are looking at setting up a fun tournament in March. If you are interested or have suggestions for
a location, let us know.
§
There is a date conflict with our July 21 tournament; the South
Qualifier was moved to
§
We will throw out one score this year.
YOUTH: Youth Director Jason
Bousquet reported:
§
SRB Youth Open is scheduled for July 7, 2012 on Cascade Reservoir;
possibility of Lady Bass Open of club fun tournament on Sunday July 8. We need ideas to try and increase
participation, especially kids from Cascade / McCall.
§
Jason is still working on getting Buffalo Wild Wings to cater the youth
open.
§
Our donation request from Cabela's is approved. Jason is working on getting Tackle Tom to
donate again this year. Good Woods and
Roaring Springs are donating items. Jason
also requests that club members donate unused tackle for the youth tournament.
§
Discussed having Tony Enrico make a couple custom rods at cost for
raffle items; we may also buy a couple BSU items for autographs.
CLASSIC / HAN: Directors Steve Day reported:
§
HSN tournament scheduled for August 4, 2012 on C.J. Strike; looking at
Air Force Ramp. The permits are applied
for.
§
Everyone needs to remember to bring a can of food or a dollar to each
meeting for the Needy Family program. Tom will collect the money / food.
§
We need to decide whether or not to hold a Lady
Bass Open on Cascade the day after the Youth Open.
OLD BUSINESS:

Members that have not yet paid their dues need to do so ASAP.
