JANUARY 3, 2011 MEETING MINUTES

 

The regular membership of the Snake River Bassmasters, Inc., was called to order by president Tom Horrace at 7:30 P.M. at Denny's Restaurant.  There were a whopping 6 club and family members present.

 

NO meeting minutes from December meeting as there were only 3 people and no meeting was held.

 

TREASURY REPORT:

Treasury Report was reviewed and approved.

 

INTRODUCTIONS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS:

No guests or new members were introduced.

 

COMMITTEE REPORTS:       President Horrace asked for committee reports:

 

PUBLIC RELATIONS:

 

CONSERVATION / WILDLIFE COUNCIL: Conservation Officer Jason Bousquet reported:

J    The Federation is looking at doing another structure plant in Cascade.

 

IDAHO BASS FEDERATION: Roger Sheltrown gave the following Federation report:

J    Ultimate Championship Tournament: people that fish 4 opens or Qualifiers, pay an extra $50 option can fish it.  Our HSN tournament is on the list as a qualifying tournament.

J    Idaho is hosting the TBF Regional Championship in 2012. They at looking at Dworshak, C.J. Strike and Lake Lowell as waters to fish.

 

TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR: Tournament director Steve Day reported:

J    2011 SRB tournament schedule was discussed and revised.

 

YOUTH: Youth Director Cody Murray reported

J    No report

J    SRB usually does a Kid's Casting event at the Boise Sports Show on Friday evening.  We need at least 6 people to do it again this year.  People that come to help get a pass to get in the door free.  The date would be March 4.

 

CLASSIC / HAN: Directors Steve Day and Bill Kriner  reported:

J    The  2011 Hot Summer Night tournament is scheduled for the full moon on Saturday Aug. 13

SNAKE RIVER LADY BASS:

J    The Needy Family program went well; Kira and Jason bought $281 of gifts for a family with 3 kids.

J    We have a shot at getting BSU signed items to raffle off for the Needy Family program.

J    Everyone needs to remember to bring a can of food or a dollar to each meeting for the Needy Family program.

 

PREMIER BASS:

J    No more Premier Bass

 

SUPERIOR BASS:

J    No more Superior Bass

 

OLD BUSINESS:

J    None

 

NEW BUSINESS:

J    Everyone still needs to keep an eye open for a better meeting location.

 

There being no more new business, President Horrace reminded all that the next meeting would be Feb. 7 at Denny's Restaurant in Nampa.  The meeting adjourned at 9:10 p.m.
